The monastery originally comprised four wings and a cloister. In the south, a squat church with a single nave connects to the complex. The head building with its three apses, a bell tower, and a transept were added in the 13th century.
The house, at the fringe of the Mallorcan municipality of Puigpunyent, home to 2000 residents, contains six subsidised apartments accessed by two entrances.
The translucent facade comprised of composite elements appears colourful in a restrained way. Compared to a variant consisting of wood, its advantage is the lower maintenance cost.
Respectfully responding to the original atmosphere of the warehouse, the new built-in elements display restraint.
The single storey house is located in a new development on the outskirts of Llubí. It displays a sandstone face on the exterior and unrendered brick walls on the interior.
The facade features a relief consisting of bright glass fibre compound elements and smooth cladding comprised of a recyclable composite material reminiscent of wood.
Loadbearing crosswalls consisting of cyclopean concrete are visible on the interior and exterior. Simple wood blinds serve as sun protection.
An exterior reinforced concrete frame structures the building. In the course of converting the facility for office use, every third facade field received glazing.
