Company Headquarters in Saint Paul

Grouped about a large courtyard on the extensive site occupied by the 3M technology concern in St Paul, Minnesota, are the 15-storey company headquarters building and four structures of lower height. These are linked at first-floor level by a peripheral, weatherproof skywalk. For the rehabilitation and reorganization of the buildings dating from the 1960s, the planners drew up a concept to improve communication and the exchange of knowledge between members of staff and to integrate innovative information technology by specific spatial measures.
